Who's Brewing today?

Don't need a question to start a thread here. The weather is hot, it would be nice to know when the next brew is coming.

Well, what are you waiting for? Get on with it!
I can't survive long without homebrew...commercial beers (except belgians) gives me bad hangovers. Too much sake or wine gives me the runs.

Yep, certainly did put one down today. ;)

Put down LCBA clone Version IV today, but used Jamil's licensed "Cry Havoc" Whitelabs strain in Ale mode.

Because this yeast will ferment at lager temperatures as well, I plan to use the slurry from this brew to make a lager just to see how it pans out.

For the above brew, I did a two stage mash, 53 dec G and 65 deg C. Because the previous brews all had a notable haze, I also am trying "Koppafloc"for the first time. This is a super expensive flocculating agent but we shall see if it is worth the cash, read about it here.

fermentation fridge was acting up, went travelling for a week and came back with the temp at 19C. Taste test confirms there's a bit of high alcohol...might need a bit of lagering to smoothen it.
