Stopped by last week and was not too impressed. All beers tasted green-apple with unpleasant alcoholic bite. I could barely finish the samples

According to thier website, the owners are offering a franchise option to "offer a smallest integrated micro-brewery system for the aims of achieving retail space saving, low capital investment, ease of start up, and with no brewery experience required, low operation overhead and yet without compromise at consumer’s level for highly demanded traditional crafted designer beers"

Is the future of Singapore "Craft" breweries, turn-key single vessel brewing systems without the need for experienced brewer?

Anyone else had a different experience?

Where is the actual place where you can drink this? Your description of the beer reminds me of that awful experience at The Beer Station.

The location is a small shop at Chimes. I applaud the concept, but am concerned that the average customer will take one taste of this "microbrew thing" and say "uugh...i think i'll stick with my Tiger".

Funny enough, some of my better-off friends in the resturant biz have spotted this "franchise" "create-your-own-brewery" pitch on their website and asked me if it could be this easy. You can probably guess my advise.

We need more Fals and Ernests out there who actually care and are passionate about the beer they are creating, not just a fad.
