Anyone made this one up pls.
Just need to know the taste profile as it does come out at 3.5%. as an option I mean.
Have an work associate that wants to try his hand at Brewing but needs to get Domestic Control on side and she loves Ginger Beer.
He's not stupid is he..
cheers Spud.
Brewing, well awaiting to be - Newcastle Nut, American Pale
Keg - Scottish 80/-, Eda's Milk Stout
Next in line - Choc /Hazelnut Porter, Dry Knickers Stout then, Classic American Pils, Kolsch.

hey resident.

be careful of this one, I believe if u do brew it the ginger taste will taint future beer brews ...somehow you just cant get it out of the plastic so if you do it , use a dedicated fermenter..

If you add in 2 kilo or 3 of sugar/dext, domestic control will not complain. LOL.
That's what "people" do with wine kit.

Thanks Guys
So has anyone actually Brewed this though,,,
Take on board what U say about the lingering Ginger influence so if I do put one down for him I will use Glass.
The iBrew right up calls for additional fermentables so thats not a problem.
This one will see the light of day maybe 2009

hmm, not sure I'd be sticking that stuff through a kegerator mr spudulator, I reckon u'de be tainting those lines and taps for a long time to come, but gladly try some out of a bottle.

Since the stuff should be sweet, hows that done, with aspartame of some other artifcial sweetener ?

Ginger Beer is under way.
Tastes bloody great & it is not for me Hunty, Indian friend at work wants to get into Brewing so he says DC will let him try this and then hopes to move on from there.. Its actually doing its thing sitting beside fridge at moment as temp is well within Yeast range. (so Coopers say..) SG said potential of 3.5%
cheers spud
